| Congratulations to all the swimmers who represented Leicestershire competing for the Kingerlee Trophy hosted by Oxfordshire & North Buckinghamshire on Sunday 10th May 2009 in Milton Keynes. A number of the swimmers were representing their county for the first time & they all certainly rose to the occasion. There were double individual wins for: Harriet Cooper (Penguins): 11 years 50m freestyle & 50m backstroke Nick Harrison (Penguins): 12 years 100m breaststroke & 100m freestyle Megan Morrison (Loughborough): 10 years 50m freestyle & 50m butterfly Other first places gained by: Ellis Kube (Penguins): 12 years 100m backstroke Harriet West (Coalville): 11years 50m butterfly Girls 10 years medley & freestyle relay Girls 11 years medley relay Girls 12 years medley & freestyle relay Boys 12 years freestyle & medley relay On the day it was announced that Leicestershire were joint first with Oxfordshire & North Buckinghamshire.
