City of Leicester Swimming Club member, Sophie Konderak, tragically passed away from an undetected heart condition last September. This September, COLSC Age Group Coach, Suzi Bowen, and Sophies Father John will be completing the BUPA 10km Great Yorkshire run in Sheffield in Sophies memory, and to raise money for the CRY charity (Cardiac Risk in the Young). Cry aim to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to sudden cardiac death and sudden death syndrome, and offer support to those who have suffered a bereavement.
